StackedSkincare approached me to create a cohesive line of premium beauty tools—dermaplaning, cold rolling, and microneedling—that would elevate key skincare rituals and set the brand apart. Working closely with founder Kerry Benjamin, I developed a unified design language and a suite of tools shaped by user observation and expert insight. The result was a product line that feels intuitive, safe, and meticulously crafted, strengthening the brand’s identity, expanding its market presence, and earning significant recognition from customers and the beauty press.

For the Dermaplaning Tool, it was critical to avoid any reference to traditional facial shaving. User observations and expert interviews led to a premium, well-balanced recyclable aluminum handle, an intuitive replaceable-head system, and protective safety covers. Customers love it, the beauty press has awarded it widely, and she earned back her full investment in just eight months.

For the Cold Roller, I focused on improving surface contact and user experience. The egg-shaped head offered continuous curvature for better coverage and more effective de-puffing than traditional flat rollers. Offsetting the head enabled easier access to hard-to-reach areas, and close collaboration with the factory ensured clean transitions and a reliable, sightless assembly. A protective silicone cap—modeled after Greek amphorae—keeps the tool clean in the freezer, while the overall form fits seamlessly within Stacked Skincare’s premium aesthetic.

Microneedling can feel intimidating, despite its proven benefits. I designed a tool that feels approachable and refined: a balanced aluminum handle, a replaceable roller head for reduced waste and consistent performance, and a clear center-axle cover that protects needles during installation and travel—reinforcing the brand’s emphasis on safety and care.
